Information We Collect

When you enquire about our services, register as a member, or otherwise interact with Auroelle, we may collect the following categories of information:

Identity details — full name, date of birth, gender, height, weight, photographs, and government ID for verification purposes.
Contact information — email address, phone number, residential city/country, and WhatsApp details.
Professional & lifestyle information — profession, annual income range, education, religion, community, and LinkedIn profile URL where voluntarily provided.
Preference data — the qualities, communities, cities, and partner characteristics you are seeking, used solely to inform your matches.
Technical & usage data — IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected automatically to improve our website's performance and security.

We only collect what is necessary to provide a meaningful, well-considered matchmaking experience — we do not request information irrelevant to that purpose.

How We Use Your Information

The information you share with us is used exclusively to deliver and improve our matchmaking services. Specifically, we use your data to:

Curate and propose compatible introductions based on your stated preferences.
Verify your identity and background to maintain a trusted, genuine member community.
Communicate with you regarding your enquiry, membership, proposed introductions, and scheduled meetings.
Improve our website, services, and matching methodology through aggregated, anonymised analysis.
Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, or law-enforcement obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes — ever.

3

Sharing & Disclosure

Your profile is never made publicly searchable, and is never shared with another member without your explicit, informed consent. Introductions only proceed when both parties have separately agreed.

We may share limited information with:

Your dedicated matchmaker and our internal verification team, strictly on a need-to-know basis.
Trusted service providers who support our operations (such as secure data storage or communication tools), bound by confidentiality obligations.
Legal or regulatory authorities, only where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our members.
Bespoke members may request an additional Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for an extra layer of confidentiality. Speak with your matchmaker to arrange this.
4

Data Security

We take reasonable and industry-appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. These include encrypted data storage, restricted internal access controls, and regular security reviews.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security, and encourage you to also take precautions when sharing sensitive information online.

5

Third-Party Links

Our website may, from time to time, contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, social media platforms or payment gateways). These third parties operate under their own privacy policies, which we do not control. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any external site before providing personal information to it.

6

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand how visitors use our website, remember your preferences, and improve overall site performance. This may include essential cookies (required for the site to function), and analytics cookies (which help us understand visitor behaviour in aggregate).

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time; please note that doing so may affect certain website functionality.

7

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, maintain accurate records, and comply with legal obligations. If you withdraw from our matchmaking service, you may request that your profile and associated personal data be deleted, subject to any legal or regulatory retention requirements.

8

Your Rights & Choices

You have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information.
Request deletion of your profile and personal data from our systems.
Withdraw consent for specific uses of your data, such as marketing communications.

To exercise any of these rights, please write to us at the contact details provided at the end of this policy. We aim to respond to all such requests within 30 days.

9

NRI & International Members

For members residing outside India, your information may be processed and stored on servers located in India in order to deliver our services. By using Auroelle, you consent to this transfer and processing. We apply the same standard of care and confidentiality to international members as we do to members based in India, regardless of jurisdiction.
